Workforce Development Programs

Introduction

NYSERDA's Workforce Development Programs are preparing the current and future workforce to meet the demands of clean energy jobs. A variety of funding opportunities support activities such as:

  • Training for building and operations staff to properly operate and maintain building systems;

  • On-the-job training with wage reimbursement for new clean energy workers;

  • Internships for students looking to gain hands-on skills at a clean energy company;

  • Curriculum development to meet the demands of clean energy employers; and

  • Initiatives to help a diverse population of individuals from all backgrounds join the clean energy industry.

Information about each program and application instructions, as well as resources related to clean energy jobs, can be found on the Clean Energy Workforce Development Program Website.
